What is the Department of Horror Intervention?
The Department of Horror Intervention (DHI) is a government agency assigned to the policing and/or eliminating of any and all types of monsters, ghosts, demons, etc. Although a small agency, employees of the DHI operate out of many Branch Offices located in most major cities and anywhere else with a large enough Horror population to warrant them.
Each Branch Office consists of a minimum of three employees: one for Field Ops (the ones that do all of the killing and capturing), one for Research & Acquisitions (the ones that do all of the necessary research and planning for missions and assignments, as well as acquiring the proper "tools" for the job), and one for Office Management (the ones that take care of the day to day operations of the Branch Office and anything else that needs to be done).
What is a Horror?
A Horror is the generic term used by the government for any kind of supernatural creature. This includes vampires, werewolves, mummies, gillmen, demons, ghouls, ghosts, zombies, poltergeists, and many more.
What is a Classic?
A Classic is a type of Horror that consists of the "classic" monsters, such as werewolves, vampires, mummies, etc.
What is a Slasher?
A Slasher is a type of Horror that consist of homocidal maniacs wielding chainsaws, axes, machetes, knives, etc. They are usually impossible to kill and are horribly disfigured.
What is a Hotfoot?
A Hotfoot is a slang term for any type of demon.
What is a Delvis?
A Delvis (Delvi in the plural) is a particular type of demon that worships the one true King, Elvis Presley. They come in all sizes and colors, but they all dress like and emulate the King. Hail to the King, Baby!
